Right after my last reply I lay down and wanted to search Youtube for watersplash photography tutorials, but at first there was a tutorial for better bird photography, which was very good and interesting ... and 2 hours later I woke up šŸ˜‰ lol
I hope you didn't do the same my friend ;)

So I think I'll just write the replies on the comments I got, make some votes and call it a day. Tomorrow will be a very long work day, but maybe I'll find some time inbetween to make a post.

So your afternoon was a bit more productive than mine and you've had a nice chat with your family, that's good.
Good morning JJ, I hope you have a great day today šŸ™‚

So, have a good time commenting my friend.
I'm trying to put a post together, but there's always something that disturbs me: work. Oh, how I envy you, my friend šŸ˜‰

... and as I said in another comment, it took me all day long to make this post ;)

I hope we are still on the Hive when I retire in about 7 years, because what else should I do with my free time? Playing chess in the city park or feed the doves? LOL

I kind of imagine sitting still either playing Chess or feeding doves is not really your thing

Chess yes, sometimes, but speed chess, because I don't want to think or wait too long šŸ˜
Feeding doves? Definitely not. They always sh*t on our cars šŸ˜

So I hope the Hive will still.be alife šŸ˜ƒ

I thought so - I play with my brother in law from time to time, but he is a "thinker" what makes me often forget my next move a few times before he makes his. But that does not matter, because I loose always anyway ;) lol

I remember when I first played one of my older brothers was in a chess club and they would occasionally play in our house and I would watch them and I got intrigued so went to the library and took out a few books to learn the game, then one day I asked to play a game, OI think they were like 16 or 17 and I was maybe 8 and they laughed that I had read a book and wanted to play, but in the end one of them said sure, and were shocked when I won the game LOL. never agreed to play me again

Good morning JJ,

sorry for my late reply, but I didn't have much time at work, came home late and then I wanted to photogaph the Supermoon. When I came home then it was too late and I went to bed. This morning I tried to shoot the moon again, but as far as I have seen the photos both, yesterday evening and this morning were somehow fails. I couldn't get my long lens mounted with it's mount ring on the tripod and had to mount the camera, what has made the whole thing very unstable and so the photos have got quite blurred. So I better should have stayed at home and made some comments and replies šŸ˜‰

šŸ™‚ yes, I think you have told me that story about your first chess experiences quite a while ago, but it was nice to read it again and imagine the faces of your brothers šŸ˜‰

Sorry your moon shots did not work out is there some problem with the lens tripod mount I hope you can sort that out

Good morning JJ :)

I think the arca swiss plate I have mounted on the lens last week does not match the tripod head, but maybe I just didn't try it the right way - will sort it out later at home.

I am sure I can do something with the photos in Lightroom or Photoshop ;)

I have none of these things done yet, instead was riding around the whole afternoon. It is warm and nice outside, just as spring should be :)
The only negative thing is that there are so many people everywhere - all nice places at the lake which have usually been empty in the past weeks are now full of people :(

I hope you have a nice afternoon too and have found some cool "C" photos šŸ™‚

Well riding around must have been nice, totally unlike spring here, the temp is dropping going down close to freezing overnight and a chance of rain

I still have not looked for c shots yet, let me go and do that after I catch up with comments

Good morning JJ,

I hope you've had a good night after commenting and dreamed of the letter "C" šŸ˜‰
Yesterday evening I was so tired that I shut off my computer early and slept until about 9 this morning. I haven't slept so long for ages.

After replying to the comments I want to pack my things and go on another ride - they say it will rain next week, so I have only this weekend ;)

Hopefully the weather will get better for you too, but on the other hand the rain washes the pollen away.

Yeah, I woke up at 5 and thought I could sleep a little bit longer and then I woke up again shortly before 9. I think I needed that sleep, because I didn't have any time in the office this week šŸ˜‡

I have just seen your C shot post - great :) I woul dnever have thought of a Coca Cola bottle or a Chain ;) But I have photographed a church today and a cloud :) If I can edit all photos from today I will post my C-photos later.

Have a great day too JJ šŸ™‚

Yes you must have needed the sleep for sure, I cheated I guess by going to my archives made it a lot easier for me to get the 6 shots needed

I don't think it was cheating - I have also been searching in my archive, but then I thought I might see some nice C-things on my ride šŸ˜‰ ... and I urgently needed to take some fresh photos outside of the apartment.

Ohh I so look forward to the day I can get out for new photos, my wife made a new scarf for Bahbahra so well use that for a at-home photoshoot soon with her ;)

That day will come and I think Bahbahra needs some fresh air on the beach too :)
In the meantime I'm curious on her new scarf - Bahbahra will certainly like it and when you go for a walk outside she could use it as a face mask, just as I don't use a regular mask, but a kind of scarf.

I was using a bandana whenI had to go out but now we have a few masks, the bandana is easier but the mask offer more protection so that's what I will use

I have always one or two of these cheap blue one-use masks with me too, but I think my scarf might be more protective than such a mask ;)
The masks you have will certainly be the better ones with an integrated filter. They are certainly much better.

Yeah I think the scarf would be better, we now have two masks each and two more coming thanks tot he kindness of a friend, they don't have a filter but three layer of material so pretty good and all we will need

Ah, I forgot that you have told me a while ago that a friend sews masks for you. They are of course much better than the ones which the people are usually wearing. My wife has also sewed a few with more layers, but I don't like them. I prefer my scarf until my daughter has made one for me with another design ;)

Of course we would all prefer nothing but I have a funny feeling masks are going be reco0mmened for most of this year

Yes, we will become used of them just like the people in the big asian cities, but it is a strange feeling to go into a shop to pay with a mask on ;)
