Sightings on a beach walk

My wife and I went for a beach walk the other day, and its a walk I will always remember as its been years since my wife felt well enough for a walk on the beach, so it was the first walk we took together for a long time, and seeing how much she was loving the walk was such a special moment for me and hopefully the first of many walks, but this is not a Wednesday Walk post that will come tomorrow but instead just focusing on a few things we spotted on the walk a few of which my wife spotted and suggested I take photos of.

Starting with this what I guess was recently washed up piece of seaweed with its lovely fresh greens

Now I am no expert on seaweed but i guess this is another form of seaweed when looking at it and taking this photo I thought it kind of looked like a lobster shape.

Do you see it or am I loosing my marbles?

Is that a saying where you live? if not its another way of saying losing my mind.

Now this is another form of sea plant life I have no idea what it is called but I thought it was worth a shot :)
wellI should give credit where it is due my wife pointed it out to me, I didn't take as many shots as I would normally do on a beach walk, my main focus for that walk was for Lulu and I to enjoy the day and the beach together :)

and the only thing I know for certain what it is, well the rope part of it at least LOL
Probably used for tieing up a boat or kayak :)

It was wonderful to hear your wife was feeling well enough to go with you for a walk @tattoodjay . What better place to go than along the beach exploring nature. I particularly liked the third shot. Have a great week.

What a wonderful event you were able to share with Lulu. I am so happy to feel your heartfelt delight from the outing. I am hoping she did well after being out. So, you two can go out again soon! Ohh yes the outing was good for her, we were planning another walk today but were expecting an important delivery and have to wait around for it to be delivered

Wonderful to hear you both made it down to the beach, so rejuvenating being able to go on relaxing stroll.

Not sure I have seen green kelp, normally brown on the Cape beaches if my memory serves me well.

I normally notice more of the brown myself as well but that gree bit really caught our eyes

Beach walk can be very healing and relaxing. I miss going to the beach.
That’s a nice green seaweed! I would want to cook it!! Hope it’s edible. Your camera is super good!

Hope both of you will be going for beach walk again and take many more photos!

Ohh yes for sure beach walks are very therapudic and relaxing for me

Yeah, I see the lobster too, you are not going crazy at all! Nice job on the shots and that is awesome that your wife was able to get out and take a walk with you! Sounds like it was a fantastic day!

I can see a green bird's head with a green beak, but I have no idea what bird it could be,
I can see a brown dog having fun, jumping around on the beach,
I can see a red fire fist pushing the water back into the sea,
and I can see a green rope with algae 😉

These images are great, JJ, they are really beautiful abstract images - cool. Without telling where you have taken them it would have been hard for me to guess what it is.

... and I can hear your wife Lulu sing while you both are walking happily on the beach. You should do such a walk definitely again, it's good for both of you 👍😀

our delivery did not come yesterday so we will have to wait for it today but we did get out for a good drive at 6AM :)

My work day week is over and now I wait for my car to come home too, because it looks very rainy and I don't want to ride the motorbike. But for tomorrow they say the sun might shine 🔆

lets hope the forecast for tomorrow is right and you get a nice start for the weekend :)

We didn't get out for a walk just gave the car a good blast, my wife was still in her Pjs so not ready to walk the beach LOL

Now it is gray and windy, but still no raining. Maybe I'll try and go for a walk a bit later.
Anything's better than stay inside ;) but a beach walk in Pyjamas would have looked cool though 😉

The unidentified one is actually called sargassum, a brown seaweed (algae) that floats along through life, usually starting in the Caribbean and drifting to the North Atlantic.

It has an odor to it. A stinky one! :)

I like the shapes. I draw lots of fantasy maps for d&d and other stuff and often I turn into the nature to find inspiration. Random shapes in nature is my biggest source to draw the maps. I like the one shaped like a horse ( you said it looks like a lobster but its a horse for my eyes ) those pictures are great source for drawing the maps.

Heey! Nice shots! I really like and enjoy doing water related activities since I love water so much, I miss having walks and especially miss going to the beach, I hope to return to it someday and keep on pracicing my water photo-shooting skills lol. I'm glad that you could have such lovely moment with your loved one, I also want to reach that someday. Loved the water here and how shinning it looks! Cute post! Regards!
