Before the infection by Coronavirus we were masters of the world. We decided the fate of trees, entire forests, oceans, rivers, atmosphere, animals. We have changed a large number of virgin ecosystems, our life was hectic, we moved frequently and with rapidity, neglecting of environment all around,

Prima del contagio del Coronavirus eravamo padroni del mondo. Noi decidevamo le sorti di alberi, intere foreste, oceani, fiumi, atmosfera, animali. Abbiamo modificato un gran numero di ecosistemi vergini, la nostra vita era frenetica, ci spostavamo frequentemente e con rapidità, incuranti dell’ambiente tutto intorno,

throwing waste everiwere, polluting,we have modified the landscape, buildind buildings, roads, industries, throwing concrete everywhere breaking down centenary trees.

gettando rifiuti ovunque, inquinando, abbiamo modificato il territorio, costruendo edifici, strade, industrie, gettando cemento ovunque abbattendo alberi centenari.

We have fill our seas of plastic, the sky of chemtrails and gas, fine powders, unloaded from industries and vehicles.
High concentrations of powders fine recorded in February in the Pianura Padana produced an acceleration to diffusion of the Covd-19, according to a study by The Italian Societyof Environmental Medicine (SIMA) tougether with the Bari and Bologna University.
All this for the money-God, for our selfishness, we destroyed a planet.

Abbiamo riempito i nostri mari di plastica, il cielo di scie chimiche e gas, polveri sottili, scaricati da industrie e automezzi.
Le alte concentrazioni di polveri sottili registrate nel mese di febbraio in Pianura Padana hanno prodotto un’accelerazione alla diffusione del Covid-19, lo sostiene uno studio Della società Italiana di Medicina Ambientale (SIMA) insieme all’università di Bari e di Bologna.
Tutto questo per il Dio Denaro, per il nostro egoismo abbiamo distrutto un pianeta.

This work made a few years ago is part of “Penelope Underground” series of tapestries, they made with interweaving of waste materials.
I thought to do a tree bark, with branches and leaves, then I photographed it in the wood. Everything that man throws into the environment, I intertwine it, forming tapestries and I try to propose it as a work of art.

Questo lavoro fatto alcuni anni fa fa parte della serie di arazzi “Penelope Underground” fatti con intrecci di materiali di riciclo. Ho pensato di fare una corteccia di albero, con rami e foglie, poi l’ho fotografata nel bosco. Tutto ciò che l’uomo disperde nell’ambiente io intreccio formando arazzi e cerco di riproporlo in veste di opera d’arte.

We are all more or less waiting of a light at the bottom of the tunnel, which is still not seen……

Siamo tutti più o meno in attesa di una luce in fondo al tunnel, che ancora non si vede……

And now that the pandemic is expanding rapidly all over the world we need to isolate ourselves, hiding, staying at home, with the fear that the virus may catch your loved ones. Now we complain, we are angry because staying at home is hard. Our cities are empty, the streets deserted, everythyng is closed.
Nature has given us a lesson, infact seems that slowly it is already recovering its spaces, just look at the birds, they seem more numerous perhaps because we only hear themsing. In certain mountain areas also the wild boars have approached the countries and walk on the roads fearless.
The hares running fearless in the parks, dolphins swimming in our ports. Rivers water is also cleaner and more trasparent, even the canals of Venice seem cleaned up and the seabed and fish can be seen.
I think tha all this will change us!!! I hope this dark period will soon pass!!!

Siamo tutti più o meno in attesa di una luce in fondo al tunnel, che ancora non si vede……
Ed ora che la pandemia si sta allargando rapidamente in tutto il mondo ci dobbiamo isolare, nascondere, restare in casa, con la paura che il virus possa prenderti i tuoi cari. Ora ci lamentiamo, siamo arrabbiati perché stare rinchiusi è dura. Le nostre città sono vuote, le strade deserte è tutto chiuso. La natura ci ha dato una lezione, infatti sembra che piano piano già si stia riprendendo i suoi spazi, basta guardare gli uccelli, sembrano più numerosi anche perché si sentono solo i loro canti. In certe zone di montagna anche i cinghiali si sono avvicinati ai paesi e camminano sulle strade senza paura.
Le lepri corrono senza paura nei parchi, i delfini arrivano nei nostri porti. Anche l’acqua dei fiumi è più pulita e trasparente, perfino i canali di Venezia si sono ripuliti e si vedono i fondi e pesci.
Penso che tutto questo ci cambierà!!! Speriamo che questo buio periodo passi presto!!!
