Our drive into town.

My Wife and I, took a drive around town today in Ile-ife, Osun State, to buy some stuffs and observing the ease of the lock down in town.

I must admit, everywhere is dry, huge market places like Sabo, Lagere and Mayfair, was scarce of people.

I took the liberty of making some photos along the ride. Stay tuned and enjoy.

My first spot of observation was Lagere. Lagere is a popular place in Ife town. The post office is located there, its the direct route to the Palace of the Ooni of Ife (King of the Yoruba Lands), Banks, companies, Offices, Businesses and Market spots are also located here. Lagere is always filled with hundreds of people on a normal day, but today was different. Let the photos speak for it self.

These are popular Market shops in Ife, getting a shop here is quite expensive, but because of the constant crowd here, its worth the investment.

As you can see, these shops are without much patronage, the Covid-19 locked was hard on these day to day business individuals. With the ease of the lockdown, they still stay ooptimistic and hope for better days ahead.

Some Banks was no eexception in these tough times.

With the low lines of ATM users, lining to withdraw from the Machines, which on a normal day, would have been lmuch than this, coupled with the long lines inside the Banking Halls.

Companines and Bussineses was also affected and we all can't wait, for these tough times to be over.

These are really tough times, but i know, we are a human race filled with a World of Possibilities.
