Let's Make a Collage (Round 51) | The deserts of illegal mining

Hi friends LMAC Community. Hello @shaka, I hope the summer break has renewed your energy to continue inventing activities at LMAC.

I was practicing new ways to present my collages. The first idea is always done with paper and pencil (I can't change that part of my creation). However, I reviewed some software that has very interesting tools.

For this round I wanted to focus on a denunciation. The photograph by @shaka that I base for round is very beautiful. It is a splendid panorama to fill it with fantasy. I have known many places that used to be like this and today are deserted because of the uncontrolled mining excavations.

That's why I divided half of my collage presents the extermination that mining activity can cause and the other half shows Mother Nature as a woman, with her eyes reflected in the mountain, in a landscape of wild flowers and some animals.

We can enjoy these landscapes but we must take care of them so that future generations can also enjoy them (concept of sustainability).

I hope you like the idea and the artwork.

With this collage I accept the submission to the @shaka contest. If you want to participate you can check the rules HERE Round 51.

To make this collage I used libraries of images freely available on the internet. Due to the instability of my connection I worked with the online photo editor PicsArt and there I used several stickers (birds, deer, butterflies and flowers) to complete the design. Hello @marcybetancourt,
You make a powerful case with your art. The art works whether or not we understand the argument, but in understanding the argument the collage has so much more value. Beautiful and effective
Good luck with this intelligent, attractive piece.

Hello @agmoore. This collage needs no explanation. It was something I wanted to do for a long time. It's not very aesthetic but it has the message.
Thanks for your comment and for appreciating it. Greetings

I think it is aesthetic. It is beautiful and tragic.

Greetings, friend, excellent collage to denounce the damage caused by illegal mining in different countries, this harms all nature, damaging the ozone layer where many animals die from lack of water. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you @cetb2008. I think that art can be used for denunciation. Mining in Venezuela has been atrocious. Landscapes like @shaka's are now like the left side of collage. It is a personal pain.
Thanks for your good wishes!

Because pictures are worth a thousand words, visual art is a good message bearer.
You depicted mother's predicament very well with your collage. Even without having read your explanation first, I immediately recognized what the collage was predestined to convey to me.
It's an excellent collage. Well done!
Good luck!
