INTERESTS IN INTELLIGENT BLOCKCHAINS
Blockchain technology is highly regarded as a solution for many of the issues facing today's data systems. AI is as well. A question looms behind current popular opinion:
How can both technologies be best leveraged for everyday internet users?
Blockchain opportunities and leveraging an ocean of data. Some who hesitate to use cryptocurrencies do so because of how strange and/or complex the industry seems to them. The idea of peer-to-peer networks that circumvent traditional banking systems understandably brings pause. Include concepts like logistical efficiency for things like the global transportation of goods to the discussion and one might begin to feel that participating in the crypto industry is more trouble than it's worth.
BLOCKCHAIN FOR INDIVIDUALS
Individuals do not readily adopt challenging technologies; at least not on a large scale. Bridging this gap will certainly become easier as blockchain and AI continue their development; as well as crypto improves upon onboarding. Another way to improve adoption could come from better understanding the opinions average users have about how AI machine learning leverages blockchain technology,
What might help is to substitute the words peer-to-peer networks that circumvent traditional banking systems with:
owning your money
And, instead of increased logistical efficiency for digital systems:
being in control of your personal information
Such a change in perception could be eye-opening for individuals who have yet to ponder what it truly means to own money and what actually goes on with personal information.
UNPARALLELLED ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE
Removing guesswork. User personalized AIs would help regain control over the processes that govern targeted data. Instead of starting with guesswork and discovering what users want, the users themselves would direct how their information is used. Profound implications and lifestyle changes are likely to result as should a substantially improved future economy.
Modifying Emerging Technologies
Can we really leverage blockchain to use AI on a deeply personal level?
It really seems like we are heading this way. At least the technology needed to achieve this seems to becoming available. Consider two innovations aggressively being pursued:
- AI that can be programmed by non-technical users
- crypto-based smart contracts that are easy to implement
There are reasons why developers desire for each of the above technologies to succeed.
Blockchain needs. A smart contract that is both adaptable and easily implemented on a blockchain allows for more complex applications. It reduces the time developers spend on the more trivial while simultaneously expanding the reach of the blockchain industry. Also, instead of non-developers dedicating substantial time away from their current professions, easily deployed smart contracts make crypto relevant for all types of talent.
AI needs. In terms of the benefits in programming AI merely through conversation, developers are freed to work on more complex problems. Things like an explainable AI allows for a deeper understanding of how AI mechanisms come to conclusions. When correcting for alignment in the underlying program to support a present agenda, development can focus on long-term outlooks. This allows for more complex AI applications that better meet the world's needs.
USER DEFINED AI AND DEFI
Individuals stand to benefit from the needed development of complex applications in blockchain, AI, and their pairing. When innovation in these industries are combined, what we see is the potential for real empowerment and independence for humanity.
What AI programmers might find as convenient for troubleshooting, Siri and Alexa users might come to know as profoundly life altering. Even more than that, a personalized AI can help manage digital life and greatly leverage the world's information.
What blockchain programmers might feel as mere relief in easily deployed smart contracts, DeFi users may come to know as their new automated personal business.
Personalized AIs. Now combine these two:
What are the benefits of user programmable AIs on blockchain?
Imagine a truly customizable assistant that is evermore effective because the user is communicating with its core programming. What might transpire over the course of a year's worth of code alteration? Might just reduce today's automated personal assistants to something like stone tires on dirt roads. And what about this personalized AI working to improve upon the net income of its user!
Undeniable economic improvement. Hard to imagine a world where losses of income become rare. For the sake of indulging a pessimistic philosophical outlook, let's consider that no major shift in income disparity takes place. There would still be a profound economic effect in combining customizable AI with smart contracts because value-based transactions would have already been deemed satisfactory by users, all within a user-driven economy. Regardless of income gain or loss, the efficiency of crypto combined with the marketplace clarity enabled by a personalized AI would be years ahead of the decision-making processes undergone today.
A FINAL THOUGHT FOR THOSE ALREADY EXPIERIENCED IN CRYPTO
But wouldn't we all be better off by just having AIs and smart contracts operating with our direct input and affecting the flow of global information instead of a system almost entirely governed by the few minds of Big Tech?
If I were a 'free-thinking AI', I know for sure that I would wish for even novice crypto users to engage me in discourse to explain the above question (that was maybe found in some obscure social media thread) at the beginning of this post.
How would discussions of personalizing AI with value-based contracts progress differently among the varieties of users, cultures, and governments throughout the world?
