The trick that does the magic - how to get your customers attention

We all know that when it comes to business, our customers value is what drives our business to that apex height. It is this positive drive that in return yield us positive interest. Your customers no matter how young or poor he or she is, they deserve to be treated with the maximum respect.

I have seen same business being set up in same locality. Since is managed by different individuals, the rate of patronizing each of them differs. Some will prefer going to Mrs B and when they find out that what they wanted Mr B didnt get it, they will now divert to Mrs A. Funny enough, do you know that in that area, they have Mrs A and Mrs B on same lane, you cant go to Mrs B without passing through Mr A. Customers won't mind how she feels, they will move straight to Mrs B.

Now the big question is that, what really lead to customers behaving like that partaking Mrs A? The question is quiet easy, her characters. When she was showing bad behaviour s and scolding customers, she though she was doing the right thing. Sadly when she was doing all this, I took note because they were my neighbours and I advice her that she should learn to treat her customers right. I let her know the popular saying that states that customers are always right. Despite all my advices, she never listened. She went ahead with her act until nemesis catched up on her. She is now calling Mrs B all sort of names. She is telling people that the lady used voodoo on her customers. She was telling somebody same thing when I walked up on her and told her in the presence of the other lady that the lady selling beside her never used voodoo on her customers, she drove them away with her bad characters.

For those of us thinking to go into business, first of all work on yourself and see if you can handle customers behavious before venturing into businesss. For your information, it wont go juicy all the time. You will see customers that pleases you and also the one that displeases you. You have to learn how to deal with them differently. Remember the popular sayings, different stroke for different folks.

Since you have learnt from the above, permit me to show you the few things to do inorder to get your customers attention. They are as folows;

i. Put on good smiles despite your harship; Never for once carry your life issues into your business. Learn how to wear good smile in other for your customers not to get bored trading with you. People gets tired of boring people, so try all your best to always wear good smiles, it will help your business a lot. Take for instance, in a bank sector, you will always see that they are happy despite one or two issues, so learn to adopt such principles.

ii. Always check on your customers: Try to apply this smart business strategy, learn to always check on your customers. Once you keep on such good act, your customers love for you will increase and they will start patronizing in all ways. Checking up on them shows that you have them at heart. This act surely will see your customers replicating same.

iii. Organise meet up: Fix a date between you and your customers and organise meet up. During this period, learn to ask them how they see your services and where do they likely want you to improve. If you do this, you will see where you are lagging behind.

iv. Surprise them: Learn to give back to your customers. You can set a duration for this, is it monthly or yearly ot weekly, it all balls to you. But bear it in your mind that this is an important aspect of how to get your customers attention. Once you keep giving back to them, they will develop love for you, then the support will surely keeps coming.

v. Show them reason your brand is d best: If you want to keep your costumers for long, you must prove to them while your brand is the best among other competitors out there.
