LinkedIn have been in existence for a long time now and at times I am surprised we don’t really know how powerful the website can be use to boost or generate sales to our business. Most people only make use of Whatsapp especially their status to advertise mainly to those on their contact list, few make use of Facebook and only few know how to the the Facebook advertisement section which do cost them money but what keep hitting me is that, we only registrar on LinkedIn because people are registering there (I just want to be among) without viewing how we can utilize it to generate leads/audience to our business. There are about 674 million members currently on linden and close to 30 million businesses if not more on the platform each from different part of the countries. This make the platform the largest network website on the internet which means this can give you the opportunity to communicate or link yourself up with various businesses and even build up relationships or get yourself jobs. But how does it work

LinkedIn really works in a unique ways and it is free, you can start by building your own business page on the platform but first you will register and create the profile you wish to use and then connect with your friends and family who are making use of the platform, you can also ask them to connect to you or you invite them using their emails or names. Also under the build your network section, you can click the find connections and follow the steps given. Let get to the real business of the day, you need to view this platform as your own personal online business cards, I remembered that my last post was about creating a business cards. You need to think about what to fill in your profile section, what impression will you like to create when people view your profile, you don’t want them to just keep seeing any random details about your business because when they search your name on google or other search engine, it will surely bring out your LinkedIn page so be sure to link every details and allow it to be up to date.

I know this will be the next question you will be asking, there are various ways LinkedIn can help you and even serve as a form of marketing tools, you can use it to generate leads, create awareness to your business or brand, customers or even get a job, I still remember one day I was introduced to a platform which generates some income for me because I inserted content creator on my profile and someone message me and gave me the details I need and I make use of it. I know about lot of individuals too who have secure jobs, freelance work and generate customers for their products but there are levels to this things but your first step is to set up your details correctly or even build up a company page.
