May Run #30: Keep it simple

avatar

I'll be short as was the run tonight. Many things to do on this Saturday. No time to run a run. It came last on the daily menu. Good four kilometers down to the river Sava and back. That was it.

The cover photo has nothing to do with the run. I noticed this interesting detail while at the gathering in the local skate club. Cool, ain't it.

The map and data.

May has almost turned inoto June. How time flies. I am nine reports short of a full deck this month. I will try to make this up tomorrow. It will be another long day.

All the physical activity data that I display in my @exhaust and @actifit reports is gathered with the help of Coros Pace sports watch and displayed with Coros app.

You have uploaded 408 running activities, and 68 of them have been of similar distances (within 10 percent)!
Here are your 5-fastest running activities of a similar distance:

Over these 68 similar activities, you have travelled approximately 304.96 kms at an average pace of roughly 6:06 min/km!
Your latest run was at a pace of approximately 5.619min/km!
Looks like you went a bit faster than usual this time! Nice work!
Have a !BEER for your troubles!

that's pretty solid. probably means you've done a 5k under 25 before. One goal that seems light years away for me

Hey, thanks. I never was a quick runner. More zen like, I consort myself :)

Yet, my 10K PB is 38 something so ... yes :)

You can reach all your goals as long as you set them realistically ;)

38 minutes is definitely quick for a non pro. my realistic 10k pb is to crack 55 minutes

It all depends on your condition, effort and goals, needs, wishes.

Running, and similar activities, is great because you can't bluff yourself. You get what you invest :)

What is important is you and your effort and the benefits you gain from it. It's you that count. Comparisons with others are useless.

I know this so contrary with competitive society we live in. Yet, it's the basic truth - it's about you.

Like with everything else in your life :)
