Another Night Run

I just finished a 8.237km running that lasted about 0hh:37mm:18ss !

Like I said yesterday, I may not be able to run much the next couple of weeks at least, so today, even if it was already 10pm, I decided to go for a run. It's still cold but a little less than yesterday and again it does not bother me anyways. Road conditions are more of a problem. As you can see on the cover picture taken just before dusk, still very changing conditions in the neighborhood. By looping around a bit differently compared to usual, I tried skipping the sections with the deeper snow, but to avoid running the same loop over and over, there's a few stretches I just had to run through. Particularly one just before the 30minute mark. I was already starting to get tired, and the snow on that half mile section was really taxing on both my legs and lungs! But just like yesterday, I managed to add another mile or so, just enough to reach 5 miles.

Pace was still far from impressive, but with these conditions, I will take it for sure. I was a bit sore from yesterday run. And I also made a mistake with my gear. When randomly picking a pair of running tights, I took one with resistance bands included. In the past, I always thought it was really just a gimmick, but today, I did feel the resistance in my quads and hips. Hopefully, next run without them, I will feel super light!

Another very small chance for a run tomorrow, and after that we'll see how it goes. Till then, keep Exhausting!
