Running on the Christmas Eve

I just finished a 4.572km running that lasted about 0hh:22mm:51ss !

I cannot imagine that I had enough motivation to go out to run on the Christmas Eve when it was raining. The weather was awful with wind and cold. Although the temperature was much better than it was before there was still rain. I never thought I would be celebrating my holidays running out wet. But, I did.

I think it was because of the tweet I saw today. While going through the posts, I saw a motivation tweet shared by someone which suggested why people should run despite all the odds. And, the other reason ( the big one) was that my wife also ran and she asked me to :D

So, it was a good day. I was planning to complete a 5K but I did not. I did not feel like it. It's a good thing that I was out there to enjoy the fresh air. The pace was good as I am being consistent with running lately. I had a couple of stops to take pictures and enjoy the city. Other than that, a pretty decent effort. Hope we will be able to run tomorrow as well.

Peace and Happy Holidays.

*When someone tells you that what you want to do is impossible, change the word in your head to hard. What you want to do is hard. Hard is doable – it just requires dedicated work and effort and you can make it happen.
