Some of my first cards ever sold online!

avatar

I've been enjoying my small beginning into selling cards online. I would like to sell more online but that's not my fault. Ebay continues to restrict my selling limit. It really annoys the crap outta me. I sure hope to see a Hive e-commerce alternative. I know there is an option or two out there for me, I just need to look into it more. Life seems to move pretty fast on Hive and it always has. It's hard to keep up with all the new projects going on on the the blockchain.

Anyway, I since about two weeks ago, I have sold four cards. I would mention the money made, but I just don't feel like sharing that info. Maybe some other time.

I've made alright money in my opinion and combine that with the fact that I think cards are awesome, this whole selling experience has been super satisfying for me. It's been good for me too considering everything going on in my personal life.

Here is a pic of my first card before I took it to the post office, LOL.

In this first online sale was a rookie Anthony Rizzo card. A solid baseball player.

Next, I sold a DeShaun Watson rookie. I'm never mad at making some profit off a Texans player HA! This went for a nice price online.

Then I sold Cam Newton, and Matt Ryan rookies in that order. A pair of NFC South Rivals.

Doing business like this is like shockingly fun. Getting money for what I believe to be a quality product is great. Knowing these cards are likely going to a person who really appreciates the player and card, feels great!

I have some money set aside for a mall or Target trip to get some more cards. I really want to as soon as possible.

Ugh I really need to figure this Ebay crap out. Anyone have any insight on this selling limit topic?

I hope some people found this post interesting in some way. If not, oh well LOLOL.

WTG! Looks like you are off to a great start. Glad to see you ship in a bubble mailer, that's how I do it also. I think people appreciate the care you take to get them there item safely.

I remember selling limits were a hassle for me starting out too. I'm now at 306 items and $23,500 a month, limits I could only hope to meet. LOL. I think my limits increased the more I sold. There is a way to request an increase that I Googled, not sure how it works though.

Go to My eBay.
Open Activity tab.
In the Sell section click on the All Selling.
Click the Request a limit increase link in the Monthly limits section and follow the on-screen instructions.

Good luck and may your sales be many. 😀

Wow! That's some goals right there!I would love to have that limit haha. Yes I try to use the bubble mailer and when I don't I have some strategies to help make sure it is safe. I have attempted that process, it gives me a hard time But I will keep trying lol they said after they evaluate my Sales they can increase the limit. I will maybe send screenshots later. But it's good to hear they sort of just increased yours, maybe I will get an increase next month!

If I remember correctly once it started going up it skyrocketed pretty quickly.

Buying and reselling trading cards was one of my favorite things to do back in the day! My game was trading Pokemon and Magic cards 😅

I like this post a lot! In fact, I like it so much that I've selected it to be included in the weekly curation post for @hivehustlers! Keep an eye out for that in the next couple days.

That's awesome, I like my fair share of Pokemon too. One day I'd like to have a little collection of my favorites. Thanks a lot for including my post in the curation post :)
