I just sneaked with a Silvershield Assassin

Hey Splinterlanders!

In this week's challenge, we again didn't get any monster but an ability. So it is the Sneak ability. Those monsters having this ability attacks the last monster in the opponent's team.

You can read more about this week's challenge on Splinterlands official post by visiting the following link.

Sneak is a nice ability that helps you to destruct your opponent's end line. Though this ability can't work in Fog of War ruleset. Initially Sneak was only available in melee monsters but later it came to magic and ranged as well.

I've added the screenshot of my battle and you can also find a link to watch my battle below. )

What was my Lineup?

It was a 27 mana battle with Super Sneak and Broken Arrows rulesets, I'll explain each monster used in the battle below.
So, let's move forward.

I went with Tyrus Paladium Life Summoner, it gives +1 Armor to all friendly monsters. As it was super sneak so I wanted to get extra protection by using this summoner which gave me +1 armor.

My first monster was Old Legendary Lord Arianthus, due to its many useful abilities, it's the best tank. As ruleset was broken arrows so it helped me to magic reflect my opponent's magic attacks.

In the second place, I used a Silvershield Assassin level 5. It's the best sneak attacker which I like most, due to its 3 abilities at level 5. Sneak, Poison, and Double Strike does their work so efficiently. Especially the poison ability leaves the attacked monster dying itself.

The third position was covered with a knight known as Silvershield Knight. I used this monster because of its inspire ability which gives a +1 melee attack to all friendly monsters. It also has piercing ability which can give extra damage to the attacked monster's health after its armor is broken.

Next, I used level 6 Divine Healer, it's a common beta monster with tank heal and slow ability. I had to heal my legendary tank so it can last longer in the battle and also slowed my opponent's attack by using this divine monster.

In fifth place, I placed the Crystal Werewolf, it's an old reward monster that has thorns and silence abilities at level 5. The silence ability was there to reduce the magic attack of my opponent and thorns kept damaging those sneak attacks by my enemy.

Lastly, I used a 0 mana reward monster Furious Chicken, I placed it at last so it can waste some of my enemy's sneak attacks. Afterall this battle was super sneak, so placing chicken at last position was a wise decision.

Did your strategy work?

Yes, it worked well and I won this battle. In this battle, I used Silvershield Assassin because of its sneak ability and double strick with poison, and all 3 combos worked well to give me a victory.

Do you use Sneak often?

Yes, I use it often but sometimes I avoid it thinking my opponent will use thorns ability to damage my melee sneaks. lol

That's all for now. See you at Battle Field.
