We have had too much of Chinese things this year

I have to start this article by giving a credit to @sayee for this title. She used to tell this regularly that we have had too much of Chinese this year. Ya it is quite true. I'm not going to talk any political thing here or what is happening between nations. I would also like to say that we cannot blame anyone for the current situation as well. But, from the looks of it it is true that we had to pay too much of attention to the Chinese this year.

I'm writing this article not because of Justin Sun or because of the Corona that we got from China. Recently, in the news, they announced that there is going to be a serious ban on Chinese products in India. Due to the corona situation, we already had a challenge importing many electronic items into India from other countries. We have to agree that China produces lots of electronic items at cheap prices. I'm not sure what impact it would create if we ban Chinese products.

Most of the mobile phones and electronic items are made in China and our day to day life is purely dependent on those items. If there is going to be a ban on them, it creates a good opportunity for other competitors but the question is that we are not sure if the competitors or alternate manufacturers would be able to satisfy the needs. There is a high possibility that the price of such products can pump so much in India.

Mobile phones can be the best example that we can take. Over 60 percent of the mobile phones that are being used are Chinese brand and if that should be replaced with a good alternative, there should be a strong initiative to make in India or import from countries other than China. I'm not sure if that would make it costly or even Cheaper. But I'm sure that this decision by the government would have a great impact on the financial markets. We have to check if we will be able to fulfill all the needs in India without the dependency from China.

I'm just thinking aloud here but I'm sure the government would have done all the considerations before taking this decision. I also saw in the news that most of the Chinese applications are also going to be removed from Google Playstore which includes TikTok as well. There is already a ban on TikTok in many countries but people still find a way to use it with the help of APK. Delisting the application from the play store may not help too much or prevent people from using it but it would reduce the usage to some extent. Some of the good utility apps might as well get removed from the play store. I hope there is some alternative available for mobile users.

I don't know what else to say but we have to hope for the best. People should learn to continue with their life without all these dependencies on Chinese products and mobile applications.
