The path way to freedom is full of struggle but worth it
Freedom is very expensive in this modern world, many thinks not being caged in a dungeon or prison is what freedom is all about but it is more broader than that, it is true prisoners have no access to eat what they like and they are only subjected to what is provided by the law but still what is the difference between a prisoner and the people i am going to list below....
A teacher
- There is a saying that teaching job is not about the money but the honor gotten from it, this is true but this doesn't mean teacher should not enjoy a good life too, aside the fact that the job is time consuming, the salary being paid is too small!, just imagine in my country, someone doing 7a.m to 5 p.m teaching job and yet getting less than 60 dollars, that is not even enough to cover cost of feeding for the whole month talkless of other basic needs and bills the person needs to pay, is such person really free??? time wise he is not free and financially too he is not free!
Labourer
- I honestly feel the pain of those who toil day and night just to get their daily meal, it is not easy for this set of people in anyway, the teacher used his mouth and brain which is not as stressful as the labourer who carry heavy loads, they work so hard in the day and at night bears the pains that comes as a result of the suffering , what they earn is not even enough to take care of their medical expenses in case illness befall them and it got me wondering, did these people offend their creator, why must he let them suffer so much just to feed while there are some people out there who did nothing but just lavish this money! but it is what it is, life is not balanced...
Life is hard for many people, like 60 percent of the world population is suffering, while 30 percent are just comfortable and probably the remaining 10 percent rich, is it supposed to be that way? some people have greatness instilled in them but they need someone to help them unlock it, some lacks vision and need someone to show them the way and that is the predicament of so many people in the world and why the poor remains in one place while the rich keeps getting richer...
I was a teacher for good seven years and i could not boast of achieving anything for the whole time, all money gotten was spent on food and it was not even enough, debt upon debt, the salary would have almost finish even before it get paid due to so many expenses and bills to be paid not until my eyes were open, i realized if i keep doing this, i may do it for the rest of my life without achieving anything aside honor from the parent and student, but honor won't feed me and my family, i need financial freedom! i need time freedom! and luckily i was blessed by a friend who showed me the path to freedom and since then i have been walking on it
So many people are in this stage of their life, they keep working even when it is so obvious what they are earning can never sustain them not to talk of their family but they keep doing it anyway because they have no other choice, atleast not until their divine helper find them while some people have many opportunities placed on their feet but due to ignorance and lack of patience, they turned away from it and prefer to suffer..
If you are an employee no matter how much you are being paid, you are not yet free
If you work all day and night and can't sleep at your own will, you are not yet free
Freedom is when you can sleep all day without no worries of getting sacked, no problem of what to eat or wear, freedom is when you can move around with no burden but not many are lucky to have this freedom, some knows it and are fighting for it but many do not even know they ain't free which is a big problem because you can't fight what you don't know.. They need to fight their ignorance and then they will have a clearer vision and know the right step to take to fight for their freedom
Say to yourself
- I want to be free
- I will be free
- The moment you believe in yourself, things become easier to do
Work towards your freedom, work now so you can be free tomorrow, work hard, work smart, save and invest to have a better tomorrow because freedom is all that matters...

Hey @burlarj Nice article, I worked as a lecturer in the Uk and although my wages there were good. I could only take holiday with my son (I was a hard-working single parent) during the main holiday period. This was extremely expensive, yes they always seem to find a way to penalise you when you're in the system.
Freedom is vital!
Once I heard an older man of Jewish ethnicity saying: If you have a job, if you work all the time, you don't have enough time to make money! :) Many times this is true.
