How the Rewards Are Split: (90% / 10%)
Rewards are not split equally; each delegator earns based on their actual contribution.
Delegators — 90%: Receive 90% of the curation rewards generated by their delegated HP. Payouts are sent as Staked DUO, valued at the current DUO price (e.g., 1.50 HIVE per DUO). Because it arrives staked, it immediately increases influence and qualifies for DUO staking dividends!
DUO Team — 10% Retained Stake: 10% of the HP earned from delegations is kept in the @duo-curator account. The remaining 90% is factored into dividend payouts. This creates ongoing HIVE growth for the project by retaining a small portion of curation earnings.
Fair-Share Tracking (Minute-by-Minute)
To prevent gaming the system—for example, delegating late in the week just to receive a payout—the system tracks the exact number of minutes each user was delegated during the 7-day week (10,080 minutes total).
Delegated all week? You receive 100% of your delegation’s weekly earnings.
Delegated mid-week? You are credited only for your active time. For example, 2 days of delegation earns 2 days’ worth of rewards.
Weekly Payout Schedule
When: Automatically every Sunday at 18:00 UTC (2:00 PM EST).
From: @duo-payout.
How: Staked DUO is sent directly to each delegator’s Hive-Engine wallet.
No Manual Work: The system scans the blockchain, calculates each user’s share to the minute, sends the transactions, and posts a receipt in the HOC Discord channel.

Important
DUO stakers are free to unstake as they please however we ask that when you do so you notify the DUO team, we set the curation up manually and letting us know keeps things fair for the other stakers.
Failure to do so will result in a 50% drop on curation on the remaining stake (Assuming its over 200 after the unstake as a reminder 200 is our minimum for curation) for a period of 1 week, there is no penalty for unstaking, only if it's done without notification to the DUO team.

Manual curation
When the voting mana is running high (above 85%) we have created a queue of our stakers who will receive an increased manual upvote when this is happening. First you must receive a normal vote from the @duo-curator to be eligible for the boost. The boost percentage will be up to 50% of a vote. Once you receive an additional curation your name moves to the bottom of the list so that everyone has a chance to benefit from this. New stakers that buy and stake at least 200 DUO will start at the bottom of the list to be fair.

Remember a minimum of 200 DUO staked is required to be eligible for curation.

The post doesn't explicitly mention what account to delegate to, but it mentions @duo-payout.
If someone read that by skimming they may think that is the account to delegate to 😆

This is a little confusing though.
So if I delegate 1k HP and I will only get 90% curation rewards from the 1k, since all owned HP is for owners. But since it also grows with 10% the owners gets free growth? xD
That's a good point on the wording. It means 10% is kept in the duo-curator account to grow the HP. Just like dividends are paid at 90% of curation earnings so the account's HP slowly builds abd grows. I'll update that section so it makes more sense. 🙂
Does duo have inflation? What are the numbers ATM?
If by "inflation" you mean an ever-increasing supply, no.
The supply is capped at 10,000,000. The only way to get is to buy it, tip it, set duo-curator as a beneficiary on posts and delegate.

The majority of the tokens are locked up for tipping. The rest are reserved for special sales and the tokens in duo-curator's possession are to pay the founders based on curation earnings each month.
