I think I found this project by looking at the new HIVE posts and it sounded interesting the very first moment I read more about it.

It's more about the plan they have.

By their description they want to make sustainable energy a reality through Hive.

They created a token on the Steem-engine and transitioned it to Hive-Engine. The long-term plan of Solairitas is to construct a grid-tied solar/wind farm within the Continental United States. The proceeds from energy production will thereby provide an ongoing income to Solairitas, which is to be powered up, thus making its upvote worth an ever-increasing value in addition to the usual compensation for HIVE inflation.

It is an interesting concept for sure and let me tell you what's best about this all - when you buy SOL the current proceeds are immediately powered up and used to deliver upvotes to token holders so that rewards begin/continue even before the project is built, and whether or not the project is successful.

Where's the catch? I don't think there is a catch. You can purchase these tokens and get some HIVE upvotes back even before the project is up and running! Sounds pretty awesome if you ask me.

In the end, this project makes a lot of sense, but it will probably take many years to be completed. Good things take time though.
