Strolling down this leafy sidewalk, I took a moment to pause and reflect. The crunch of brown wings beneath my feet fallen from trees like tears of the fall. It had been awhile since I posted one of these and was prompted to by the blinking cursor on my computer screen.

This pandemic has caused me to squirrel myself away in the safety of my indoor sanctuary. Usually found hunched over a well-worn keyboard or gazing intently at the moving images on my trusty tablet. Watching crowds of spectral people in movies filmed before this current misfortune, reminded me of the resiliency of the human spirit.

Though I can't help but wonder how many of those digital damsels in distress will round the curve with us into the new year. Despite all of that, I retain the distinct impression that just as we did a century ago, we will come out into the light at the end of this dark tunnel.

Not only is this something we must get through, we WILL get through this together. Ggiving each other the love and support we all need. One step at a time.
