Getting it together

Yesterday dawned bright and sparkly after Monday's rain. It was a busy day, among other things, preparing the Little Room for a guest - as opposed to a long time friend.

This vintage plate that was a wedding present is always part of the scene. I love that I always think of the person who gave it to me when I set up.

Oh, and Rambo seems to like this spot. He was very much in evidence and has taken to coming for breakfast as well as supper. Yesterday, after supper, he spent a good couple of hours there. Sound asleep.

Then it was an evening get together with new colleagues. A gathering and get to know the team, if you will.

It seems to have gone well. Today's all work!
