Meet the Guinea Family

This is the first video and real photos of the entire clutch. The chicks must be about three days old, now, and we think there are between 15 and 17. They are constantly and quickly on the move.

They're also so well camouflaged in the dappled light, photographing them is a bit of a challenge.

The parents live in our vegetable garden (that's a but of an issue) and our entire property is their turf. This is the first time, in about three years, they have been so "brazen" with their chicks: close to the house and virtually around our feet. Until it we all surprise each other which is a little startling for everyone!
