Dear Neoxian, Do You Care To Know About My Day? 4th July, 2020.

Good evening everyone, from Nigeria!

7:00 a.m.

Today was a rainy day. The rain started by about 5 a.m. and lasted till 3:40 p.m. Obviously, there was no need to step out in the morning, the weather wouldn't even be favourable.

So, I took afang soup for breakfast with my wife. We did a little watching of movies and then started discussing about our lives and extended families.

9:30 a.m.

After discussion, I asked her to choose our tomorrow's outfit, that's the clothes we are going to wear to church tomorrow. Tomorrow is first Sunday. Every first Sunday is thanksgiving Sunday and it's customary to wear native attire. We have a lot of native attires that it's same colour for both of us, so she just had to choose one so I can press it and get it ready for tomorrow. We normally prepare for Sundays this way because we resume church service at 7 a.m. prompt, thus there won't be time in the morning to do much.

10:30 a.m.

We began to sleep. With the rain and the cold weather, it was so sweet to cover ourselves, close the windows and just dose off. We had beautiful dreams and slept till 1 p.m. Waking up after that long sleep only made us hungry. So, for lunch, we took ekpangnkukwu, a local food we prepared yesterday; I talked about it in my yesterday's diary.

1:30 p.m.

I did a video for 3speak. I do daily video to contribute to a daily Christian topic posted online by my friend Eli from Japan. My wife videotaped me as I spoke, using my phone. I edited it and posted with a few writing to explain my points more. It was fun. I proceeded to check my blogs, claiming few tokens into my wallet.

I entered into another session of siesta and my wife joined me. I don't know why I slept so much today, maybe it's the weather. That second session took me till 3:25. I woke up to go for choir rehearsal and Sunday school preview, in preparation for tomorrow. Everything in church went well, I had 13 members turned up and we did a song titled " Chioma me". Our hymn tomorrow is "Ancient word" by Michael W. Smith.

On my way back from church at about 6:10 p.m. I bought pears and water leafs for my wife. She has been craving for pear and maize for few days now, but I couldn't find maize to buy.

I met her watching movie at home. The movie title is "Wedding Party" and she was very happy for what I bought for her.

That was my life today and it's 7:49 p.m here in Nigeria as I write. How was your day?

One love and shout out to you all!
