Every individual is a carrier of emotions and sensations that mark his emotional stability and his daily life, it could be said that the human being acts according to his emotions, this is dangerous, since there is not always an emotional stability in him.

Daily we experience a great amount of feelings, which are allowed by diverse processes that are carried out in all our organism, due to the fact that this involves our central nervous system and other organs of our bodies that help in the production of hormones that measure the sensations of the human being.

Happiness can be caused by circumstances and situations that increase the amount of neurotransmitters in the blood circulation, this situation brings as a consequence characteristic behaviors of this feeling of happiness or well-being, which every person seeks in one way or another.

Now, for all the above mentioned, the need to answer the following questions arises:

How is happiness produced?

It is a positive state of mind, mediated by significant amounts of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine that are produced in the brain and in certain parts of the digestive system, this favors the human being.

Serotonin and dopamine, play an extremely important role in the human being, because without the presence of these, the emotions of the individual are greatly affected, often the consequences of decreases in these hormones can be confused with psychological conditions such as depression.

What is the role of serotonin and dopamine?

These hormones are endorphins that help in the interconnection of neurons and in some of the daily functions of the human being, since they help to regulate the mood and thousands of daily functions of the organism, for example: it allows to have a pleasant sleep, helps to regulate the pain because of the liberation of endorphins that help to block other neurotransmitters.

The endorphins mentioned above, allow the subject to experience well-being and relaxation of muscles that give rise to happiness. The decrease in serotonin results in sadness, anxiety, depression and insomnia.

It is important to emphasize that there are substances that potentiate and inhibit the actions of the hormones, for example coffee inhibits the action of serotonin, while dark chocolate potentiates it.
