Splinterlands - PHANTASM (Weekly Battle Post)

Phantasm

I have yet to play this card and am aware Phantasm is one of the newer reward cards. Still in order to participate in this week's battle post I had tried the monster card with so so success. I believe this is the case due in part that I only use a level 1 version of it. Here is one battle I had using Phantasm.

The Battle

I had a match where the rule sets lost summoners and lost magic monsters. It has a 42 mana match and restricted use of fire and water splinters. I had a losing streak going in search of a death match that would allow me to win with Phantasm. So easy to guess why I post this battle. I finally got a win with Phantasm in this battle.

My Formation

I started with Phantasm and followed by Spineback Wolf, Sand Worm, Grim Reaper, Vampire, and Octopider

My Opponent's Formation

My opponent had went with a dragon splinter and has Goblin Mech as their tank. Then Fire Spitter, Twister Jester, Mantoid, Centaur and end with Octopider.

Battle Results

The match started out in my opponent's favor. I originally thought I would be able to dominate since I had higher level monsters and that my opponent was mostly focused on range monsters. The end result was a surprise as my Sand Worm was able to finish off my opponent. A significant reason why I won was some of my opponent's attacks were misses. here.
