From our early childhood to till now, we taught to hold back emotions and feelings. And when we grow up it roots deep down our brain and became harder to come back from there. Releasing emotion and feeling is very necessary but that doesn't mean that we have to choose to hold them back.

Holding our feeling back is not only a barrier in success but also a huge barrier in finding happiness too. It's like sticking to something which is not capable enough to help us move on forward. Also, holding our emotions is so very personal that it will not reflect on others' life and that's why another person/thing will not understand and get back to us.

For example, suppose one of your friends betrays you for any reason. You may feel extremely awful and can't forget that incident. You may not feel like forgiving or connecting back to your friend again. But when you choose you to hold that terrible feeling to you rather letting it go, you choose to hamper yourself. I'm not saying to catch up with your friend, you can do whatever you want about that. But remember to let your negative emotions go. Forget it, leave it, and move on.

We have to understand that holding emotions and feelings only makes the thing worse. It's like a toxic game in our minds. We silently kill all the productivity, positive energy on the way just thinking about the bad incident. Letting the emotions go is not that hard. Just we have to come up to the position to forgive others as well as us to do that. Sometimes there's more peace in letting things go than holding it back.

Happiness is what our goals in life in a different way. And this one little thing- holding feelings back can make a huge difference. We can choose to hold back or let go and life will choose to make us happy and not depends on n that. Now the choice is ours.
