Fantastic Phantasm

I had been busy with playing and trying to write other posts when I came across the usual banter on Neo discord about the weekly challenge post and then I remembered that I had totally forgotten about it and now I am late like @mango-juice who usually submits it at the last but one minute.

Anyways Phantasm is my new favorite card and so I will write about it with zeal.

My death guys are very poor in strength and so I usually avoid the death quest and mostly refresh it if I do happen to get it.

I did realize that I need a few leveled up summoners and rented the maxed death and Earth but I was still lacking in good monsters.

That is when I came across the new reward card The Phantasm

Many of the creatures of Mortis are terrifying and mysterious, even to the Dark Eternals themselves. When the Dark Tzar convinced him so many years ago to tamper with the rules of death, the Lord of Darkness never knew the true scope of the multitude of terrors he would be unleashing forever onto the Splinterlands. The approach of a Phantasm is never expected. They are always presumed to be a figment of their victim's imagination until the pain begins. The pain is very real.

Frankly speaking, this does look like one of those carnivorous plants that Teenage crypto is growing and often shares in the Mancave discord.

Now if you notice the stats, you can see the speed and the life increasing considerably and this ensures the qualities of the tank - i.e. the first card that is to be used in a battle(for newbies)

People may think that new players do not stand a chance against the older players but let me tell you, if you try to increase your usage of these new generation reward cards, you will be surprised at the result just like I was when my own Phantasm and his team gobbled up the enemy team as you can watch in the battle below.
