The lotus bloom

It has been a while since I posted a flower photo. The lotus bloom was so beautiful that I wanted to share it with all.

Look at the pond in which the lotus stands high. It is a pond which is covered with fallen leaves and dirt. Don't get me wrong, you cannot have a clean pond with lotus plants. The dirt and mud are necessary for the lotus to grow.

Be like the lotus.

Whichever situation you are in or whatever tries to disguise you by its ugliness, do not get involved and stand tall. Be like the lotus leaf which is untouched by the water droplets. If you look closely, you can see that the lotus leaf does not absorb the water.

Nature has so many lessons in store for us. Like how the pearl is formed inside the oyster and how the worm is caught and made to believe it is an insect that can fly.

Observe the nature around you and you will find it meditative.

Nature is the best teacher.
