There is new information that Lazio offered a contract to Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
The Club of Rome entered into negotiations with the striker and his representatives regarding the terms of the personal contract, as the Olivier Giroud contract with Chelsea expires at the end of June 2020, after which the striker will become a free agent and therefore the player can negotiate with other clubs now. Prior to this, in the winter transfer window, Olivier Giroud aroused interest among many Italian teams, including Lazio, but the player remained in Chelsea until the end of the season.
This season, Olivier Giroud played in Chelsea for only 8 matches, having spent only 304 minutes on the field, which is of course very little for playing practice and I think that if Lazio offers good conditions under the contract, then Olivier Giroud will become a player in the Italian club.
