Behold Night Approaches
The need for urgency can not be overemphasized at the very point in time where everything happening around the world point towards end time. Urgency is an essential criterion for evangelism this season where COVID-19 is so rampant. There is no better way to preach the gospel at this point than the media with graphics, write-ups and videos, you and I can do it. No doubt, Jesus is coming soon.
Procrastination is the only thing that has stopped many from preaching the gospel as our primary objective on earth. Today is the day of salvation, tomorrow or next may be too late. Do it now.
If you answer to the question above is "YES". Congratulations but also take heed less you fall into the trap of the devil which lead you away from the kingdom of God.
If the answer is "NO". My question will be are you ready? Do not be like a certain man who Jesus invited to join the team of fishermen who excused himself and asked for an opportunity to follow HIm at a later date after burying a father that was still alive. He did not know when he would die or even if he would die before his father. Of a truth, he wanted to follow Jesus but didn't want to do it that day because he lacked a sense of urgency. Read Proverbs 27:1 and you will see a man does not know what lies ahead of him. Give God the chance to lead you to the promised land.
Jesus obeyed to the last breath as a propitiation for our sin, the pictorial image of taking up the cross shows how we as His children and upcoming should handle salvation. Gospel is the key to salvation. Paul described the Christian faith as a fight. Shun complacency as a preach, carry your cross (gospel) and set forth to the promised land. There is urgency.
