Hello everyone.

Today 12th of June, 2020 Nigeria marks Democracy Day and it commemorates 21 years of uninterrupted and smooth Civil administration in Nigeria. We celebrate this day annually because the result of the 1993 Nigerian Presidential election which held on June 12 that year marked the transition from Military rule to Democratic rule in Nigeria. It was spearhead by the then Military ruler, Ibrahim Babangida.
In the Presidential speech of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the celebration of Democracy Day 2020 he says this celebration gives all Nigerian an opportunity to reflect on achievements and setbacks of the country. It is also a day to honor the great men and women who fought tirelessly to establish the Republic of Nigeria. He also commiserate with the family of the people who have lost their lives during the Covid-19 pandemic and pray that we see the end soon.
In the other news, what do you think about my new look? Its a public holiday today in Nigeria. I seized the opportunity of not going to work to visit my barber shop and get a nice haircut.

Really! That's interesting to know. What's notable about your Freedom Day and in what country?
Yeah, it was June 12 1898 that the Philippines declared it's independence and free from colonizing Spaniards. 😁
Wow! That's great. Philippines speaks Spanish too?
Not really, but we still use some Spanish words til this time, we sorta adopted those words. :D
Ok bro. I'm more informed now 🤗
