For this weeks battle challenge we are gonna go with the awesome, DEFENDER OF TRUTH. Costing just 4 mana, the epic life splinter monster DEFENDER OF TRUTH offers the amazing Protect ability.

DEFENDER OF TRUTH is best suited in Little League, Equalizer, Armored up, and Weak Magic battle rulesets.

DEFENDER OF TRUTH is best placement position is middle back ranks where it is protected from Sneak and Snipe attacks.

`Complementing Abilities`

DEFENDER OF TRUTH is vulnerable to Magic Reflect so requires complementing abilities helping it survive longer

DEFENDER OF TRUTH works best with summoners giving it extra shield or health. CHANSEUS THE GREAT is also a nice choice as it can resurrect, apply triage and mend the damaged shield.

Some best complementing abilities for DEFENDER OF TRUTH are Triumph, Repair, Blind, Resurrect, Triage and Headwinds.

The best way to counter DEFENDER OF TRUTH is by using Magic Reflect ability to kill it . Due to its inherent weak health it can also be killed by using Opportunity monsters.

Due to low battle mana, I decided to go with Rare Beta Summoners. And since water splinter was not allowed so I decided to go with Life Splinter and hence used TYRUS PALADIUM.

`LORD ARIANTHUS`

Upfront I placed my favorite tank, LORD ARIANTHUS. LORD ARIANTHUS's all round defense makes it pretty hard to take out.

`DEFENDER OF TRUTH`

Next I placed the DEFENDER OF TRUTH. Costing just 4 mana, it's a pretty handy choice in low mana battles.

`ARMORSMITH`

Next I placed ARMORSMITH for mending the damaged shields. ARMORSMITH's Shield Repair ability is it's real selling price costing just 2 mana.

`SILVERSHIELD BARD`

Next I used another low mana monster, SILVERSHIELD BARD. It gives two awesome abilities costing just one mana, Swiftness and Cleanse.

`CRYSTAL WEREWOLF`

On second last position I placed another low mana tank, CRYSTAL WEREWOLF. CRYSTAL WEREWOLF Thorns ability makes it a nice sneak defender and also Silence ability can't be ignored.

On very last I placed the zero mana monster, FURIOUS CHICKEN. Costing nothing it can absorb one or two enemy attacks.

`BATTLE ANALYSIS`

This battle went as planned. DEFENDER OF TRUTH was the real attacker. Also the role of SILVERSHIELD BARD's Cleanse was critical in keeping the tank alive.
