Why We Should Always Tell The Truth.

Truth to me simply means saying or stating the fact as it is, no sugarcoating, no filtering, not down playing, or withholding the fact's about what really happened, just because you want to avoid the consequences that comes with your actions you took.

When you don't tell the truth, because you feel you are protecting the person or avoiding the outcome of what you did, it's only end one of two ways after lying.

Either you keep on lying to cover up previous Lies, which will surely lead to more lies until the truth comes out anyways or you tell a lie and get caught, then you lose your self respect, the trust people had for you.

Instead of going through with the stress of coming up with lies and more lies, or lose your integrity, just say the truth and get in over with, I know to say the truth at times is hard, but is it worth the sleepless nights, discomfort around who you have lied too, Running when no one is chasing after you, because your mind is judging you.

There is a popular quote that goes like this:

There is nothing hidden under the sun

Which means the truth will surely come out, no matter how long it takes.

In Do you want equality or do you want special treatment? by @dwinblood he had this to say about telling the truth:

The truth is that there are still people in every discipline who care more about the truth than anything else. Even if that truth is uncomfortable.

Yeah bro. I totally agree with you. I've been fighting for the truth all along, but in a brain drained plutocratic nation like mine. Majority doesn't want to hear the truth. Even if it could be scienced up.

My friend tells me coz people don't like to be told that they're doing things wrong. But what they're doing is wrong, shouldn't they desire to correct themselves and society as a whole?

What would be your opinion on this. I think both our nations are similar in that sense.

Most doesn't like to hear the truth and most people feel they're protecting someone by telling them the truth, because"they don't want to hurt the person"

I prefer for the person to decide for themselves, because when the eventually comes up they blame you for not telling them the truth.

Then how would you deliver the message in the first place?

Just say the truth the way it is even if that truth is uncomfortable to hear.

The truth is also completely subjective. You can ONLY tell the truth as you see it. My son and I sat in chairs on the porch the other day and I pointed out a beam across the deck from it and said "To me that beam looks like one thing because of where I am sitting, yet where you are sitting the angle is different." My point was that both of us could describe that beam and we'd be slightly different but it would still be the truth.

Facts on the other thing are immutable things that should be the same regardless of perspective.

My truth changes every moment of the day as my mind takes in new information.

Thanks for the mention.

I totally agree with this, no matter the person perspective, just say the facts the it is.
