Weekly News Update (April 2020 - Weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4)

Hello there Hivesters, it’s time for another Solairitas Weekly News Update!

First, allow me to apologize for the dereliction of my duties the past several weeks. While this carries with it the penalty of lost author rewards, with things being so in flux and decisions having not been made, I felt it would have been lame to post saying “Yeah, dunno’ what’s up yet, see ya’ next week.”

In the interim, we got two new members through direct purchase: @thehive who bought 50 SOL, and @jackmiller who bought 51! 🤙👍. Welcome you guys and thanks for showing your support for the project!!! 😃

We are continuing to move over to Hive. We will continue to operate on both chains until all powerdowns have been completed (11 weeks or so).

I have also increased my delegation and Solairitas is now effectively a Dolphin 🐬! 🥳 I intend to increase it some more in the coming weeks along with Solairibot.

Hive Engine is now operational and the new Hive-Engine version of the token has been created and distributed to token holders.

Sales have been reinitiated and we have sold 28 SOL since the new listing. Unfortunately, I have no way to know who purchased them. 😢 Until a block explorer is available, those HIVE will be considered as “pending.”

In an effort to reduce redundancy and to focus more attention on Eco Zone, be aware that we will soon abandon the Solairitas Discord server in favor of the dedicated channel there.

Solairibot continues doing its thing on both chains and is growing, having now accrued 48.278 HP on its own!!!

Major progress has been made toward programming Solairibot. The Solairitas database is fully functional and up to date. The bot will listen to the Hive chain, check balance and last time called, upvote the post (or comment) it’s called on, and then updates the database with the new call time. It will be released into the wild for testing here soon™️.

We are still saving HBD for the purpose of submitting a funding proposal to the Hive DAO and are currently at 1.416/15 HBD. I believe it’s 15 to submit. Was thinking Presearch and Brave Browser might be good ways to advertise the project.

We’re still seeking any and all input from the community with regard to how much we should propose and for how long. What do you think is reasonable?

Voting power continues to remain in the high nineties, and so the rough tiers will continue to remain as they are. However, in not too long a time, the intention is to raise the lowest tier (25% vote) from 10 SOL to 25.
