Album of the Day: Saycet - One Day At Home
A couple years ago, I took part in a Ayahuasca ceremony, and met a very special person there. This very special person showed me a few different unknown underrated non-famous producers/bands, that have stayed really dear to my heart, I guess because of the circumstances of their discovery but also because of the colour of their music.
Last night, I remembered this album, but couldn't remember the name of it, just the name of a song. I decided that it would be today's album of the day, and started looking for it. I typed Don't Cry Little Girl and art my surprise when Youtube tells me that ALL of his album have only been uploaded a week ago! What a coincidence to share it with you all right now!
Saycet - One Day At Home
A bit more about it:
Saycet is a name that’s been on an increasing number of lips over the last few years, like a secret too precious to keep to oneself. With just a few releases to his name, the project by Parisian producer Pierre Lefeuvre has elegantly evolved in a resolutely modern fashion, attracting attention more or less everywhere around the world from people who like their music electronic and heavy with organic emotion.
Using electronic music as his original inspiration, and influenced by the hypnotizing, minimal sounds of both Germany and Iceland, Saycet has matured his sound thanks to intensive touring of Europe, Russia and Asia, gaining international fans at every stop.
One Dat At Home is his first release, and my favourite one. More dreamy and ambient than his later releases, it is taking you on a journey back to your childhood
The tracks are listed in the following order:
- Chromatic Bird
- Don't Cry Little Girl
- Trilogie

- Maud Takes The Train
