Night on Matrossky Boulevard (visual walk 26 photos)

DSC02837.jpg

Last time I had the honor to invite respected bees (after all, bees live in the hive?) To the night embankment of the glorious city of Sevastopol. Breathing in the fresh sea breeze, we admired the setting sun, saw it off and fed our eyes with night lights.

There is a park above the embankment, and if you go through it, you can go even higher across the road. I assume that this is the highest point of Sevastopol. At the very top of this hill is Matrossky Boulevard and an open-air cinema . But I ran far ahead. Let's take a look at the night park first. Night is not your day.

It is quite difficult to shoot here at night; different areas of the park have different lighting conditions. Moreover, not only by the brightness of the light, but also by its temperature. Cool blue tones coexist with yellow and orange. I shot at different shutter speeds and different settings. Don't be surprised that the light and color in the photo is different everywhere. In addition to shooting settings, I also did some editing in the editor. So ... don't ask questions, just enjoy the nightlife.

The park is surprisingly cozy at night. You feel safe and just enjoy every moment. Someone is walking leisurely. Others took the benches. Music plays in different places. The mood is calm, but somehow festive.

Long exposure turns people into phantoms. It's even interesting. I must have looked pretty weird with a camera and a tripod in the middle of the night. But I was interested. The white details of the architecture in the dark are very well defined. They arrange the space, giving it lightness.

Here, right on the street, someone arranged a dance. Audio equipment, strong speakers and 80s music. And no face masks, just happy smiles (this is August 2020)

It's time to leave the park, or we'll never get to the free movie.

We need to collect the remaining strength and make this ascent. Since we wandered around the city and Khersonesos all day, there was not so much energy left.

Naturally ... I couldn't just climb the steps. My ascent was delayed ... I took pictures. Thanks to my wife for your understanding and angelic patience.

This is not just a staircase, it is a wonderful staircase. It has side bends to different viewing platforms. This is a real architectural structure and is very beautifully decorated with greenery.

Here is one of the types. A very interesting building. It is somewhat reminiscent of oriental architecture. But I'm not strong in styles, let the professionals correct me.

At the end of the ascent, you meet the monument to Alexander Ivanovich Kazarsky. During the Russian-Turkish war on May 14, 1829, with the rank of lieutenant commander, he commanded the 18-gun brig "Mercury" and emerged victorious in an unequal battle with two Turkish battleships. Sailor Boulevard begins immediately behind the monument, which will lead us to the cinema theater.

Op ... and we changed the light. Yes, I work magician :)

And here is the open-air cinema building. The entrance is completely free. People enter freely and leave freely as well. It's like a continuation of the walk.

On this cheerful note, we should probably finish, although there is something to tell and show. I am afraid that such a number of photos may not be published.
Until next time.

I believe you've outlined simply well the ideal ingredients for a park here such as Matrossky Boulevard. At the end of the day, it's all about our human experiences with our built environments, isn't it @bambuka?

I agree. A recreation park should not only be beautiful, but also functional. He must create positive emotions considering different types of people and their different needs.

Rock, water, green spaces and music. It is necessary to influence all channels of human perception: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. When all this is harmoniously combined and there is a state of relaxation and celebration at the same time.

Thanks for your thoughtful reading and comment :)

I know how to photograph a little, but I don't know how to trade at all))
It's another matter if there was such a person who took up the implementation, we could profitably cooperate with him.
I wish you a good week friend :)
