"Aeolus", an acoustic wind pavilion, by Luke Jerram

Aeolus is a creation of Luke Jerram, a multidisciplinary artist who makes both sculptures, installations, live art projects, and all kinds of everyday art.

It is a huge wind harp, designed to resonate and make the wind sing without the need for electricity and amplifiers. The vibration of the strings tied to some of the tubes that compose it, is transferred and projected through them. While these tubes give high tones, those without strings give low tones.

Apart from the musical part, due to its dimensions and aesthetics, Aeolus is a work of art in itself and is a complete visual experience, since each of the tubes and the arch that supports them reflect the environment, thanks to be composed of 310 polished stainless steel tubes.

Wow! that's very interesting, for sure gives the effect of a speaker. Venom wouldn't last a minut in there. 👽
