This Pub will open weekly with the purpose of acting as a place to meet, socialize, exchange information, get free stuff, you get the idea for HIVE's sake!

Want to be the face of this Pub's image?

We are asking for applications to create images for AteXoras Pub. Can be an NFT (donated to @atexoras.pub), or a direct share with all rights and exclusivity mentioned/negotiated with @forykw (the Pub manager).

Drop any intentions below mentioning the manager, please. For now, we will just use the same opening image, with some extra painting on it... for hints about any applications!

We can donate 10% of this post curation for applicants when using their image for example. We can also rotate between creator's images... not yet defined. Depends on what's coming.

🥇 Specials this Week - ❗NEVER MISS THIS SECTION❗

(first a big thanks for everyone religiously respecting this Pub Lockdown LOL, some exceptions but most of the population behaved as proper and stayed on their own happiness) 🤣

This week's special is... we are back! A couple of updates to go through.

Update 1 - The Pub has already this much SPS

(to be given away by the end of the year - check the original post for more details, but also mind the changes below on the Update 2)

Not much indeed. But a start... and once we get more cards, this will become more interesting.

Update 2 - End of the year rules change!

Currently, the delegated authority is not working against the Splinterlands webpage, so one will not be able to use that feature (you currently have to use the real account posting key). As a consequence what was thought would work, does not.

Hence we have decided to withdraw the ability for others to play with the Pub account.

In addition, to allow for more users to enter the contest, we are going to extend the eligibility of the giveaway to any user that posts at least one battle (played with their account and having a spellbook already) per week under the Pub comments.

Then, by the deadline date (end of 2021 in UTC), ONE gathering will be selected randomly, starting on this one until the last one of 2021. All users posting valid battle links on those selected gatherings will be eligible for the giveaway. We are going to make it undefined yet if there will be just 1 or more winners.

The rest remains the same. @forykw will continue to occasionally play games while the Pub is open and from the cards won, give them away. The DEC won will be put into the DEC pool to increase the SPS rewards. Anyone can contribute and @forykw will match the equivalent in HIVE for the pool. At the end of the giveaway, the DEC owned by other users will be returned to them (no matter the pool changes).

A new section will appear at the next gathering showing the status of the SPS stake and any other news necessary. In addition, @forykw and @forkyishere will make sure to bring this to a wider spread number of more users.

Update 3 - Hive Games!

Don't know if you have noticed but because of the success of Splinterlands, every game that has a good #play2earn kind of concept is receiving lots of new players. Not as much as splinterlands yet, but way more than usual. This is a reaction to the intake of new HIVE users. Not all will want to explore initially, but the moment they have a free account by just trying to play splinterlands, they will eventually start looking elsewhere. And this is just the natural way of how things work on blockchain.

As a result, every single game being currently developed or with plans to do it has a huge opportunity that should not be underestimated. Providing the momentum continues, by the end of 2021, we will be possibly seeing more than 1 million new users in HIVE when compared to last year (if not more).

Just look at the stats (from @penguinpablo)... user creation... TO THE ROOF!!! and increasing every day!

HIVE moving from exchanges to accounts, healthy increasing, meaning a lot less dependency from centralized nature. This is REALY a great sign for HIVE.

Update 4 - The Pub is making some noise already...

Feels great to have people coming back and forward, whenever they can. The idea is sort of constantly adapting, but the people that get to exchange connections or findings will always remember about the Pub (hopefully... 🤞😋).

🤝 Sharing and Why?

Since the bound reason to run this Pub is to basically get more attention to HIVE within HIVE first, and then externally, it is obvious that sharing these gatherings will be important. Help out if you can.

This is also a place where potential new users can get quick attention. Hence, the Pub can be a great tool to quickly onboard more users. There are more people around, there are more eyes watching, etc.

👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ Looking for work?

The Pub is looking for employees. If you feel like you could help, submit your application below. We are looking for the following:

• (active) 4 x Pub Admins (Core Team Members) - This will be an attempt to start building something for the AteXoras Pub. @forykw has other ideas but due to time constraints, expansion of those ideas requires a Team in order to go forward. And most likely the beginning of his Entrepreneur career? Who knows!
• (active) Pub Helpers (currently unlimited) - These users will be given posting key authority and will be given the state of Pub Helpers on the Discord server. The idea is simple, help with what you can in terms of engagement or upvoting comments under the Pub posts (previous ones are valid too). Upvoting outside of the Pub is strictly discouraged (don't wanna say forbidden because you have that authority, but please don't do it) as it defeats the purpose of the Pub.

📶 Frequency

For now, every weekend (@forykw is on UTC+13) starting on Fridays with the intent of having the maximum exposure during the weekend time. Then, a few more extra days to cure the booze, and we are back again on Friday.
