Shadows of the Nikitsky Botanical Garden [CONTEST ENTRY]

DSC02540.jpg

In the shadow of the Nikitsky botanical garden, you can spend a lot of days. This garden is located on the Black Sea coast of the Crimea peninsula. Here you can find many rare plants from all over the world. Walking through this garden, for the first time in my life (and the only one) I saw with my own eyes the legendary tree Ginkgo biloba. I even managed to collect a handful of its fallen leaves and now there is an alcoholic infusion of this plant in my closet.

Here I learned that what I had considered cedar all my life (we all tried the famous cedar nuts) is actually a kind of pine. And cedars are completely different trees.

But we have to talk about shadows. Therefore, let's return closer to the set topic. A summer day gives us, among other things, a lot of sun and heat. You can, of course, save yourself at sea. But sitting in the sea all day ... This is not my option, I can walk, watch and take pictures. And then one day we spent the whole day in this wonderful garden.

This garden is located on a rather steep slope. Pleasant shadow paths run at different levels and beautiful stone staircases are arranged between them.

Of course, the main shadows on the road are the branches and leaves of the trees. It's a garden.

But the real shade and coolness, of course, is by the water. And there are such cozy corners there. You can even make out the inhabitants of these tiny bodies of water.
If you suddenly find yourself nearby, be sure to visit the Nikitsky Botanical Garden. This is an unforgettable experience.

The shadow in the First picture looks like a man holding something on his shoulder.

Beautiful shadows! I remember the first time I saw a Ginkgo tree. I've seen others since, but that first one was amazing. Thanks for entering the OCD Shadow Contest.

I will not say to be struck by the beauty of this tree. It grew in the thicket of other trees and hardly stood out in any way. But the tree itself is a legend. In Chinese medicine, in books, the leaf of this tree is an important symbol, a symbol of healing.

My Pleasure!

Thank you very much for the compliment.
This garden is so good that it is difficult to photograph it in poor quality.
I am glad that you liked the photos and that you could feel this place :)

Really Sensational, the first image surprised me, I don't know if you noticed it, but in its shadow you can see a man, as if he was carrying the tree, the most incredible thing is that it is the same tree. Greetings, good luck in the contest.
