Shadowhunters in the Park - Experiences

Because of the covid-19 pandemic and as I have said before, my children don't go to the park much, but we can't keep them captive either.

On Saturday my husband and I decided to take them once again, a trip that had been postponed due to my husband's health and some other reasons.

Our daughter Ammy, who is the eldest, enjoyed making shadows with her body and playing, making the time in the park enjoyable. While Amelie was running around being looked after by daddy.

Little Joaquín, who is experimenting with new things, touched the grass for the first time, he also picked up some leaves from the tree that fell to the ground and what could not be missed, he was a real shadow chaser hehe.

Por el tema de la pandemia a causa de covid-19 y como ya lo he dicho antes, mis hijos no van mucho al parque, sin embargo, tampoco podemos mantenerlo cautivos.

El día sábado mi esposo y yo decidimos llevarles una vez más, un paseo que venía siendo postergado por algunos motivos de salud de mi esposo y algunos otros.

Nuestra hija Ammy, quién es la mayor, disfrutó hacer sombras con su cuerpo y jugar, haciendo el rato en el parque ameno. Mientras Amelie corría siendo cuidada por papá.

El pequeño Joaquín y quien está experimentando nuevas cosas, tocó por primera vez la grama o césped, también tomo unas hojas del árbol que cayeron al piso y lo que no podía faltar, fue un verdadero cazador de su propia sombra jeje.

I don't know what was going through little Joaquín's mind, but he looked very curious watching his shadow, and since he is almost running (he has been walking since he was 9 months old), this walk was a real adventure for him, where he could experiment with new textures.

He ran from one side to the other, stopped, bent down and observed everything, besides he is very curious and strong, he doesn't stop until he gets what he wants.

I am not one of those mums who don't let their children play with the leaves falling from the tree or touch the ground, I let them discover, just as soap and water can be used to wash their hands and clothes, so I let them be children.

No sé que pasaría por la mente del pequeño Joaquín, pero se veía muy curioso observando su sombra, además como ya casi corre (camina desde los 9 meses), para él este paseo fue una verdadera aventura, donde pudo experimentar con nuevas texturas.

Corría de un lado a otro, se detenía, se agachaba y observaba todo, además el es muy curioso y fuerte, no se detiene hasta conseguir lo que quiere.

No soy de esas mamás que no dejan que sus hijos jueguen con las hojas que caen del árbol o toquen el suelo, les dejo descubrir, de igual manera el agua y el jabón pueden usarse para lavarles sus manos y la ropa, por ello les dejo ser niños.

It is pleasant and fills me with joy to see them running in the park, in a place where they can breathe fresh air and get out of the routine and confinement that we have had to live this year and a half.

Seeing them full of health makes me grateful and to continue taking care of them is my goal, as going out in the park can be dangerous, but if we comply with the biosecurity measures, we can be more relaxed.

On Saturday they were able to hunt some shadows, we will see what our next adventure has in store for us.

Es agradable y me llena de dicha, verles correr en el parque, en un lugar donde pueden respirar aire libre y salir de la rutina y el encierro que nos ha tocado vivir este año y medio.

Verles llenos de salud me hace ser agradecida y seguir cuidando de ellos es mi meta, ya que salir al parque puede ser peligroso, pero si cumplimos las medidas de bioseguridad, podemos estar más tranquilos.

El sábado pudieron cazar algunas sombras, ya veremos que nos depara nuestra próxima aventura.
