Wild Petunias plant.

Greetings to the shadowhunter community! Today I bring you these shadows that I was able to take after leaving my house after a confinement of many months, I hope you like them as much as I love my flowers.

This is a beautiful place, it's a house in the country of some friends. They have these beautiful flowers that spread out over a large space. They are wild plants that grow because the birds come, the wind blows and the sun and rain do their thing.

WP_20210321_10_41_58_Pro.jpg

They are shrubby plants that belong to a large family, the Acanthaceae and its genus is Ruellia. It has many branches with flowers that are like bells that, instead of ringing, spread their violet color in a trail that embraces the green. These flowers are borne in buds at the top of each branch. They form this spectacle that, although it’s full noon with an incandescent sun, allows me to stop to take pictures so as not to forget that this gift is there in sight.

They are not plants that exceed 30 cms which allows them to be seen as small purple floral bouquets.

Ruellia is also called the wild Petunia. It can grow in dry soils because it tolerates small periods of soil dryness. The plant usually grows in large territories where it is randomly distributed.

You can observe my shadow but can’t see the shadow of them, the sun is incident perpendicularly on them.

This is my entry to the shadow hunting contest hosted by @melinda010100 and under the judgement of our dear friend @annephilbrick and with the collaboration of @nelinoeva.

All photos are of my property and were taken with my Blu phone and the Samsung 10 S of my dear niece.

Yes, I was able to go out thanks to my nephew who looked for me to go to the field. Things are not good in my country and now the outings are more restricted. I can only go out in the morning to buy food and medicine. I went out to buy organic fertilizer for my plants and they didn't stop me. Thank you and I'm glad you liked the flowers.

I am really rather lucky that I can order everything online and I don't have to go out at all. Everything gets delivered right to my door. Groceries and I got a bit of fertilizer delivered yesterday. @olgavita has Covid and I'm quite worried about her. I will do everything possible to avoid getting it.

It can't be that @olgavita is with the virus!!. I'll stop by and leave a comment on hers post. I try not to go out, but it's hard when nothing comes home. I'm going to buy groceries and other things around here near my house. You are lucky for your delivery. It's good that we take good care of ourselves, we are not young girls anymore. hahahaha
