SMASh 269: Feeling Like A Witch Under A Bright Moon

I was about to go home after I went to my brother’s house one fine night when the Moon was so bright that I saw myself reflecting a shadow in a dark space outside the wired gated.

I stopped for a while and tried to capture my shadow. I found myself horrible because I looked like an old witch.

The sky was clear, and the bright Moon was illuminating the path. Perhaps the clouds covered the bright Moon with a bit gloomy atmosphere, and the place was full of serenity since it was in the countryside.

I love to stay in the countryside whenever I can hear the sound of the rare insects that are making noise, the wild grasses that are swaying, and I so love the blowing cold breeze.

The place had less power connection and only a fewer houses use electricity. So in this place, many households still used a torch or a lamp to illuminate their residences during nighttime.

While I was in the dark, I was laughing at myself for looking like a witch. But despite that, I enjoyed capturing myself, although I looked horrible.

When I was younger, my parents used to make stories about the witch so that whenever it was nighttime, we were all inside the house and not staying outdoors.

And now, I am laughing at myself for how scary it was back then, but now, I am enjoying everything I see under the bright Moon as I feel like being connected for a moment in a magical world that surrounds me. And that, capturing my own shadow under a bright Moon, had even made my day.

After capturing my shadow, I got in the car and went home, laughing at myself for looking like a witch in the photo.
