Lawn Ornament Shadow

A sunny afternoon of Autumn casts long shadows.

I was checking out what flowers were left in the garden after the last frost and noticed the lawn ornament with the glass sun face was casting a shadow on the rock.

I love the Euonymus bushes because they stay green all year. They cast nice long shadows this afternoon.

As I checked out the garden, it was sad to see the blooms of the summer flowers had faded and disappeared.

The yellow coneflowers were the last to lose their petals.They are a perennial and will be back in full bloom again next summer.

How time flies and the weather changes so fast without any warning! This year it is much colder and two months earlier than last year. So, they say the mini ice age will seriously start next year! And most people still haven’t seen Adapt2030 channel on YouTube, etc.

Yes time seems to fly faster the older we get @kaminchan. Two months earlier is quite a significance difference. Our 4 seasons have been about the same climates since I can remember.

I was hoping the planet was warming up (a little bit in my area) rather than going into a mini ice age.😀

There’s so much BS on the internet it’s hard to know what to believe about the cause and effect of climate change.

That was a nice find and the shadow looks cool 🙂

Our day was overcast after a snowy night, as I said in another reply, but in the afternoon the sun has come out and for the weekend they predict lots of sunshine - we'll see 😉
