TENÍA BEATRIZ UN ASTRO DE LUZ
Tenía Beatriz un astro de luz entre los ojos
y una canción de espigas en el centro del ser,
adoré su alma triste, sus cándidos sonrojos,
y todo cuanto tiene de hermoso la mujer.
La vi alejarse un día por la senda del viento
saltando precipicios en el atardecer
y solo con su ausencia llegó a mi entendimiento
que no existe el olvido cuando es grande el querer.
Tenía Beatriz un astro de luz entre los ojos
y me dejó en tinieblas el día que se fue.
