Holaa 💕 Hace unos días vi la iniciativa "Hábitos al Leer" de @cami.rojas y me gustó tanto que decidí hacerla yo también😍. Leer en un hobbie que me ha acompañado durante toda mi vida, algunos momentos he leído más y otros menos, pero es una actividad que siempre he disfrutado. Justamente en este momento de mi vida estoy retomando la lectura de literatura y lo estoy haciendo como toda una adicta hahaha. Aquí les cuento cuáles son los hábitos que me acompañan al momento de leer:

Hello 💕 A few days ago I saw the initiative habits while reading by @cami.rojas and I liked it so much that I decided to do it too😍. Reading in a hobby that has accompanied me throughout my life, some moments I have read more and others less, but it is an activity that I have always enjoyed. Precisely at this moment in my life I'm resuming reading literature and I'm doing it like an addict hahaha. Here I tell you what are the habits that accompany me when I read:

1.- Leer más de un libro a la vez - 1.- Read more than one book at a time.

Admito que tengo temporadas de meses (o años😥) en los cuales no me da tiempo de leer ni un solo libro. Pero a penas tengo espacio disponible, empiezo a leer dos o tres libros a la vez 😅. Esto me pasa porque soy inquieta y multitasking, entonces suelo tener un libro al lado de mi mesita de noche para leer antes de dormir, un libro en PDF en la compu mientras trabajo y un libro ligero para llevarme a todos lados hahahaha.

I admit that I have seasons of months (or years😥) in which I don't have time to read a single book. But as soon as I have space available, I start reading two or three books at a time 😅. This happens to me because I'm restless and multitasking, so I usually have a book next to my bedside table to read before going to sleep, a PDF book on the computer while working and a light book to take everywhere hahahaha.

2.- Guardar mis frases favoritas. - 2.- Save my favorite phrases.

Cuando estoy leyendo y una frase me parece magnífica lo que hago es anotarla o tomarle una fotografía y compartirla en mis redes sociales. Hace años tenía un album en Facebook en el que compartía la imagen del libro que estaba leyendo junto con mis frases favoritas de él. Al poco tiempo varias personas empezaron a escribirme pidiéndome el libro prestado, porque también se enamoraron de esas frases. Fue muy divertido!

When I'm reading and I find a great sentence what I do is write it down or take a picture of it and share it on my social networks. Years ago I had an album on Facebook where I shared the image of the book I was reading along with my favorite quotes from it. Before long several people started writing me asking to borrow the book, because they also fell in love with those phrases. It was a lot of fun!

3.- Releer algunos fragmentos. - 3.- Reread some fragments.

Cuando en el libro está ocurriendo una escena que no me esperaba y quedé sorprendida puedo leer la misma página varias veces tal cual cómo si estuviera retrocediendo una película 🤣. Suelo releer y responder en voz alta como si me estuvieran contando un chisme con cosas como "no me lo creo" "¿QUÉ QUÉ? hahahah.

When in the book a scene is happening that I didn't expect and I was surprised I can read the same page several times just as if I was rewinding a movie 🤣. I usually reread and respond out loud as if I'm being told a gossip with things like "I don't believe it" "WHAT WHAT? hahahah.

4.- Alargar el final lo más que pueda - 4.- Stretch the ending as long as I can.

Cuando son trilogías o sagas y realmente he compartido gran parte de mis días con los personajes del libro, intento alargar lo más posible el final para no despedirme de ellos 😪 voy leyendo poquito a poquito y cuando ya lo termino siento un vacío existencial que no me permite tomar otro libro por varios días :(

When they are trilogies or sagas and I have really shared most of my days with the characters of the book, I try to extend the end as much as possible to not say goodbye to them 😪 I read little by little and when I finish it I feel an existential emptiness that does not allow me to take another book for several days :(

5.- Leer en TODO momento. - 5.- Read at ALL times.

Cuando estoy obsesionada con un libro simplemente no puedo parar. Esto significa amanecer leyendo, llevarme mi libro a todos lados para leer apenas pueda y dejar de hacer algunas cosas por leer 🙈🙈🙈

When I'm obsessed with a book I simply can't stop. This means waking up in the morning reading, taking my book everywhere to read as soon as I can and stop doing some things to read 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

Y esas fueron mis respuestas para la iniciativa de Cami. Es muy bonito disfrutar de la lectura pues ella nos aporta mucho a nivel personal e intelectual. Cuando leemos constantemente nuestra mente se abre a distintos mundos y posibilidades, no nos quedamos con una sola alternativa o solución, buscamos más opciones y más respuestas. Nos mantenemos curiosos, creativos e ingeniosos. Se nos hace más fácil comunicarnos y desarrollarnos profesionalmente. Lo más importante es hacerlo por placer y no por obligación, allí es donde está el verdadero disfrute. Y el placer se consigue en los temas o en las historias que nos interesan, hay para todos los gustos!

And those were my answers for Cami's initiative. It is so nice to enjoy reading as it brings us so much on a personal and intellectual level. When we read constantly our mind opens to different worlds and possibilities, we don't stay with only one alternative or solution, we look for more options and more answers. We stay curious, creative and resourceful. It becomes easier for us to communicate and develop professionally. The most important thing is to do it for pleasure and not for obligation, that is where the real enjoyment is. And the pleasure is in the topics or stories that interest us, there is something for everyone!
