Let's make a Ayurvedic and very nutritious "Cooking melon" curry.

Good night to all my hive friends. So how are you? I'm fine. I hope you are well too. Today I am going to share with you on this hive platform how to make a delicious curry from cooking melon which is a very nutritious vegetable.In fact, in Sri Lanka we call cooking melon Kekiri. It is a very nutritious vegetable. It is a special food because it cleanses the kidneys as well as the bladder. It is slightly chewy after cooking. But very tasty. This is a very expensive vegetable. I also tried this for the first time. Let's see how we can make it.
Ingredients;
π Cooking melon 500g.
π 1/2 tsp Mustard Powder.
π 1/2 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
π 1/4 tsp Fenugreek.
π 1/2 tsp curry Powder.
π 1 teaspoons of chilli powder.
π Salt to taste.
π Curry leaves.
π A chopped onion.
π A few sticks of cinnamon.
π 2 chopped garlic.
π 2 cup of cocoanut milk.
π Tamarind seed 2.
Method of making;
1 Step.
First remove the peel of the cooking melon and cut it. Then remove the seeds, cut into small pieces and wash well. As shown in the pictures below.
2 Step.
Then take a earthen pot and put the chopped cooking melon in it. After that curry leaves, chopped onion, cinnamon, garlic, tamarind, chopped garlic and mustard powder. Put turmeric powder, chilli powder, chilli powder etc. and add a cup of coconut milk and mix it well.
3 Step.
Then take the pot and cook it for about 10 minutes.
4 Step.
Then add the second cup of coconut milk, mix well and cook for about 3 minutes. After that, remove the delicious curry from the stove.
Now this delicious "Cooking melon" curry is ready. It is very tasty. And it can be made easily. It is a suitable food especially for children as well as adults. Adding it to rice is part of a healthy diet. Try it if you can. See you then with another meal. Have a nice day.
