Beautiful and abandoned island

#Dareut-Pusong-Island!

Dareut Pusong Island Lhokseumawe Aceh! Is one of the islands located in the village of Pusong Lama Lhokseumawe Aceh, precisely located on the side of the Pusong reservoir whose destination is as a tourist destination for local and outside communities.

But this was stopped because of the prolonged conflict between GAM and RI in seizing power which finally ended on August 17, 2007 peacefully at that time so that the location was abandoned by itself, the island which is more than 5 hectares wide was also hit by a tsunami wave in Aceh on the day Sunday, December 26, 2004 last year.

Now the island is still standing majestically as usual with the status of no activities contained on the island. The island that stands majestically in the middle of the ocean has tremendous potential both in terms of the economy or in terms of tourist destinations, because inside the island there live several wild habitats such as,

• Reptiles, comodo, snakes, monitor lizards and other reptiles.
• All kinds of birds, seagulls, flamingos, seabirds and other small birds.
• There are several hybrid plants, and other fruit plants that live wild in the area.

To travel to the island requires sea transportation such as boats, small bots and other adequate means of transportation. If you are in a reservoir area, it requires a distance of about 500 meters from the location, whereas if you are in the village of Pusong Lama Lhokseumawe has a distance of about 1000 meters.

If the local government needs it as a tourist destination, it will need a bigger cost because this island needs sea waves that often hit the shoreline if the wave season is needed in the months november and desember.

The village of Pusong Lama has beautiful assets in terms of tourist destinations, but to this day the island is still empty without anyone utilizing it. Thus a brief description of Dareut Pusong Lhokseumawe Island, Aceh which is so beautiful and has beautiful tourism assets, may the government wish to preserve it. Thank you very much.
