Disaster happens but at least authorities should be accountable. Why Don't people listen to the metrological updates and the omicron virus? Criticism should be valid but now as the roads are being closed but still, they want trips what is the sense?
Also as far you have talked about the cost hype and facilities availability I guess this is a trend here, to take advantage of others' misery. We all condemn the situation and casualty but it's the moment of thought for all of us not only for the government.

The philosophy here, as you say @dlmmqb is that human greed ensured that this incident occurred.

Now, after the incident has happened, after human beings, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters have paid for this incident with their lives, now people do change their minds. It is a costly shock to the system to think of yourself in their position while knowing that you were safe when they were dying.

We, human beings, like to consider ourselves more advanced and important than animals or microscopic parasites. Therefore we need to begin feeling out of our souls before we can begin to have better earth to live on.

After the fact the media can blame the government but what is the government? This is something that I really want to speak about on my own blog soon. The government is just more people, human beings. They most likely have the same mindset as the hotel owners and homeowners nearby who could have made the difference because they are the same people when they get home.

Just because they hold authority in the governance of the framework of their national community does not mean that they ARE the community. WE are all the community, each and every one of us together influences every decision and action that our governments take.

Even if you count the rich and influential, they make money because they need to follow what the large majority of humans want. Some create a need for something we do not truly want or perhaps need.

Put all of this together and we need to understand that we have the responsibility and duty to understand our place as members and shareholders of our community and everything that happens there.

Just like Hive, but without a reputation score and a Hive Power rating next to the people walking on your street, we need to act with a great deal of thought of how we want our world to be.

Beyond the reaction of the hotels and the people right now, let us learn a lesson here that we will remember for next year or ten years from now.
