As for me I believe that the metaverse is actually a kind of newest macro-goal which is present for many of the world’s tech giants....

And it should be embraced...

I love your ideas though....

Great vlog, you keep reminding us how fast things are moving. You do have a way above average way to explain the way things are going to the average Joe. Have you played around with any virtual reality stuff yet?
I'm interested in this and probably will play around with it soon.

I havent played with a headset because I refuse to feed Facebook and Zuck's desire to control the gateway. The other headsets are just too expensive at this point.

I did look a little into VR development to try to get some idea what all that entails. I am going to look deeper into it. Plus have looks a lot about VR from the 5,000 foot perspective.

A lot of interesting stuff.

That reminds me of the sex scene in demolition man but on a whole global aspect.

A bridge between real life and VR, imagine online gaming it would be a truly athletes domain hopefully they implement tread mills.

Be interesting to see what continues to emerge.

Great video

Oh yes definitely it will! I remember the early models of roller coaster rides and shooting games. Very fun and the depth perception is wonderful.

I get really disoriented when I take it off though, I don't know if that is normal for everyone or if it's just me but when I take it off and try to move around I am all wobbly and lose balance.

While Hollywood is prone to over exaggeration there are usually nuggets of truth.

We are really entering interesting times. The line between the two will be blurred and then finally disappear.

Whatever the mind has seen the hands have created.

Not sure who said that but it has always been something I've held onto in life

Technology really does improve very fast. It's an interesting perspective that screens and phones will be gone in a few decades since we are so use to them. I think one big hurdle moving to VR is obviously going to be the internet. Right now the cable companies have a huge monopoly on the internet services and I think this needs to be solved before it can even take off. I expect huge amounts of data need to be passed around so VR or AR is feasible for most of society.

Actually 5G is designed to take some of that load away. That network is suppose to be able to handle the first stages of VR tech. After that, we are likely within about 8 years of 6G which will be THz capable.

The upgrades in communication systems is really what is making a lot of this possible.

Yea I expect a huge fight between the cable companies because they want to maintain their profits from selling out internet at high prices. I don't think the push towards cheaper internet and communication is going to come easily.
