"wise fool" [original poem]

cranium-3199408__480.png

Wise man turned fool
You left your royal clothings for sack cloths
You mistook your stupidity for uniqueness
I pity you
Yes, I do for the glitter I once saw is gone
To where?
Still in you but perhaps forgotten

I feel pity for you
Not for us or what we would have had
But because you lost you to yourself
The height of greatness, you thought
All I see is a pool of madness
You should be sad but you think you're happy
What happy man goes around with a painted smile?

Oh! I plea with thee
Forsake thy wise fool you have become
A tainted image is tainted
Better go pick your apparels or lose it all
But assistance? I won't be there
What an irony! A legend you used to be but a ballad you have become.

Wow! "A legend you used to be but a ballad you have become." Hope he realizes himself and make a turn.

"You mistook your stupidity for uniqueness I pity you ". This line has the theme of when some people are just showing up some mischievous attitudes thinking they are doing it right in their own way.

This work is nice, you're a good poet @mesonia
