"Measure to Fear"

What’s your measure of being brave?
Do you measure it in words?
Do you measure it on actions?
Or can you measure it on achievement?

I’ve wondered my way up on to my challenges,
I’ve been there, I’ve been lost,
But still, there are times I wanted to cry to fear,
Chances aren’t the same when you’re already there at the exact moment you fear the most.

Is it measured on how you stand tall?
Is it enough to fight for your right?
Is it worth it to argue on what you know about?
Even though you didn’t keep your words?

If I can tell myself that I’ve been there,
If I knew what I am about to experience is the same as I’ve experienced before,
Then if I’m still willing to go through the same process again,
Then I’m brave! It’s all about doing it better.

I’ve learned another thing,
I’ve learned my new purpose,
I’ve discovered something new to myself,
I’m at the right time and in the right place not to FEAR!
