sunset balcony 1.jpg
Nikkor 18-55 (ƒ/11, 1/2000, ISO100)

We have a great view from our balcony to sunrises and sunsets.
But only from fall to spring. In the summer months the sun sets behind the buildings and we cant see it (no biggie, since the summer sunsets are boring).

This was shot last season. I still need to wat a bit for shows like this. But they are coming...
More clouds, more drama, more photos!

Nikkor 18-55 (ƒ/11,1/1250, ISO100)

Usually I would shoot sunsets with two lenses: Nikkor 18-55 and then later Tamron 70-300 to catch the last bit of the warm colour with bigger zoom.
Works every time :)

And it's gone...

Very nice sunset! Great to know about what lens to use for taking good sunset! But I’ll probably forget about it when I got hold of a camera! LoL

How do you like that 18-55? I have my eye on a few right now, but not sure if I just want to invest in a 10-24 .. $$$ lol

I bet in the summer you care less about the sunrise and sunset and more about the late evening shade from the summer heat. You can actually enjoy the outdoor space a bit more that way.

I am loving that 4th shot where the cloud edges are defined a bit as the sun rests behind them. I always like when you can capture that. FUN FUN FUN! 😁

I don't have much experience with it since I normally pick other lens to shoot with. Nor can I compare it with other lens of that type.
But for what I did shoot - I like it :) Has good colour and sharpness. And if you shoot sun - it creates really nice sunrays!

I am not huge summer fan at all! I am so glad for the Autumn already :D
